The world's endangered species come in every imaginable form.

Here are a few creatures that don't fit into our other categories. At Mountain View Conservation Centre, we believe that diversity must be maintained in all of its forms.

INDIAN CRESTED PORCUPINE

Indian Crested Porcupines have two types of quills. Outer quills are long, hollow tubes without barbs at the end. Beneath those are other shorter, thicker quills.

PREVOST'S SQUIRREL

The Prevost's Squirrel is one of the most beautiful squirrels with glossy black on the head, tail and back, chestnut-red belly and legs, and a white stripe where the other colours meet. Their scientific name means “beautiful squirrel”.
